Honestly,demo,I'm not knowledged about the seeking of a green card regarding Philippine women.
I have known/worked with many young Philippine women and men,who come over here as registered nurses from their country,and lose that status when they come here.
Then they sign on with a nursing facility/sign a contract for X amount of years,in order to earn their degree here to regain the status in lieu of service promised to the facility they signed the contract with.
I do know that the young come here and leave families behind to make money here to send back to the Philippines because our money is worth more in their country.
I have seen them go to school and work ridiculous hours,almost inhuman hours to make lots of money.
That I always questioned in my mind: Was it for honor of their families back home,or greed?
They truly are like machines when it comes to working.
They are also very curious about Americans and our ways and everything about us in general.
So,maybe some of the young women checking out BK are doing just that.
Then again,if they are green card seeking, agreeably so, people should be cautious and not get suckered in.
